Kids for Africa exists to provide hope and empowerment to vulnerable children. Providing access to quality education continues to be the heart of our work. Such a run  directly connects the world to dreams across borders.

The Uganda Sun Run is one of its kind organized in the far East of Uganda, Bukwo town. The run consists of distances like 21km , 10km,  5km and  3km for children. The town of Bukwo and Kapchwora are one of the major towns that produce the most  famous top long distance runners in Uganda.

It’s so unfair that such runners find it hard to inspire and give back to their communities in a structured way. Therefore the Uganda sun run comes in to give opportunity to such top runners to inspire other aspiring runners, giving back to their communities and opening up to the world to know where they originated  from and what challenges they faced before their breakthroughs.

Your participation in the run helps to benefit  Children from the IDP camp to obtain a chance for quality education as a key aspect for development and equipping their school with necessary equipment.
